About the role
This role primarily involves managing the regional team of Professional Development coordinators and freelance teacher trainers by designing and facilitating teachers’ training & orientation workshops, both in-person and online. The role involves equipping and supporting teachers with updated strategies for the use of Oxford books and assisting schools at TRC regarding their curriculum resources as per OUP standards.
The Regional Academic Coordinator will provide help & assistance to sales teams by sharing product knowledge for support in achieving promotional objectives and sales targets, accompanying sales representatives to schools for providing a better understanding of OUP resources and trouble shooting. The RAC will also lead the planning and implementation of the regional strategy for the PD Team in line with the Branch and Regional Sales Plan, build a strong and highly competent team at the regional level incorporating OUP qualities.
The candidate should have:
- A strong school education and university degree in Education (preferably Master’s), with 4 to 5 years’ school teaching experience.
- Impeccable English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Experience of Edtech vis a vis online training, through synchronous and asynchronous platforms, is preferred.
